Thesis: Innovations in cannabis cultivation technology
Thesis: Innovations in cannabis cultivation technology
The thesis deals with the botanical characteristics of cannabis, agricultural cultivation technology, cultivation techniques and collection of pharmaceutical varieties. Experiment was made on the effect of different trimming methods used under white and blue light: red light spectra on growth and the chemical composition of the cannabis plant. The spectrum of light was divided into two variants:
a) White LED lighting that emits a full visible spectrum b) A combination of blue and red LEDs in a 1: 1 ratio
These two variants were divided into three groups with different cutting methods. Different results were recorded for the individual lighting and trimming variants. It was concluded that white LED lighting emitting a full visible spectrum appears to be more efficient compared to the variant emitting blue and red spectra in a 1: 1 ratio. The effect of trimming in this experiment was not statistically significant.
