Sant Light: The Effects of Different Light Spectra on the Growth and Secondary Metabolism of Cannabis Sativa L.
The effects of different light spectra on the growth and secondary metabolite of the Cannabis Sativa L. plant were tested
The lights were specially customized for the SANT Light research program, and these custom lights were used to study the effect of light spectra on the growth and chemical composition of Cannabis Sativa L.
This stipulated four experimental groups of light spectrum of which one was the control group contributed by the light spectrum stipulated by the program San Light:
Control group: SanLight Spectrum Experimental group 1 : Light spectrum 70% red and 30% blue Experimental group 2: Light spectrum 30% red and 70% blue Experimental group 3: Light spectrum 45% red, 45% blue and 10% distant red
The results indicated that: Plants exposed to infrared light accumulated more biomass. Plant growth in addition compact it was observed in experimental group 2 defined by the spectrum 30% red and 70% blue. The greater accumulation of cannabinoids was stated in the experimental group 1 constituted by the spectrum 70% red and 30 % blue.
